Holiday Time

The children all looked fantastic again in their costumes today to celebrate Chinese New Year. They had a few surprises in store as they saw a dance troupe perform the Lion Dance and also witnessed a masked dancer whose face would change with a flick of the head. They all thought that was amazing.

It is holiday time and so some of the units we have been studying have come to an end. This half term we have been learning about writing 'All About' books. The children have gone through another writing cycle reviewing, editing and finally publishing their books. They shared their published books with a K1 audience.

They have reflected on their work and thought about which 'All About' writing features they used in their writing. Those books will be coming home soon and the children can't wait to share them.
