Dressing up is so much fun and it made us all think more about our favourite stories and characters. The children certainly had done that and they came in so eager to share who they were. So the first thing we did today was have a circle time where they introduced their character and book to the class.
They paired up with their Reading Workshop partners and read and talked about their books and characters. It all fits so perfectly with Reading Workshop where we have been getting to know the characters in our books better.
We also wrote books all about our characters. The children were great at thinking of problems that their character might face to build a story around. Please check the Learning Journal for your child's photos of the day.
