Planning the move and some Christmas fun!

Yesterday we talked as a class about the big move to room 2EL2. We took a look around our room and thought about everything we need in our classroom. Then we became room planners.

We walked upstairs with our clipboards and planned out where everything should go. After that we had a break and talked about how to be safe in and around our new room. The children were very sensible and followed all the rules. Here they are on the stairs.

We were introduced to our new morning routine. After the school holiday the children will leave their bags on the wooden bench in the adventure playground. This is to avoid lots of comings and goings on the stairs. When the whistle blows the children will collect their bags and be taken up to class.

This is the spot where we will put our bags.

If it is raining the children will come up and stay in the classroom with me.

Please spend time with your child reminding them of the new routine before school starts. 

Right now to the Christmas fun! 

On Thursday we will be having our Christmas activity day. Thank you to the parents who have volunteered to come in and to the K2ZBr parent reps, Renee and Rosie for organising it all!

Please can the children come into school that day in their party clothes. Please also put their PE kit in their bags as well. The children will go to PE so we can get the classroom all set up for our yummy picnic. As we are working hard on thinking about the environment please can your child bring in a plate or container to school for their picnic food.
